22-24 September 2006 - Helped the European team win the Ryder Cup just six weeks after the untimely loss of wife Heather (Ireland). It is Darren’s fifth Ryder Cup appearance and his fourth victory.

24-27 April 2008 - 1st place at the BMW Asian Open (China)

21-24 August 2008 - 1st place at the KLM Open (Netherlands)

12-15 May 2011 - 1st place at the Iberdrola Open (Spain)

14-17 July 2011 -1st place at the 2011 Open Championship at Royal St George’s.

November 2012 - Darren receives OBE at Buckingham Palace for services to golf

30 September – 2 October 2016 – Europe’s Ryder Cup captain in the 17-11 defeat to the United States at Hazeltine, Minnesota. He was a vice-captain in 2012.

30 October - 1 November 2020 - 1st place at the PGA TimberTech Championship (USA)

21-23 January 2021 - 1st place at the Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai (USA)
